I have heard from commercial operators that the smaller harbour types tugs don't really cut it outside when it gets nasty.

That boat brings back memories of a great diving trip in Scotland a few years ago. We stayed on it's sister ship (liveaboard dive boat) for about 4days of wreck diving, great boat and very stable in pretty poor conditions (thankfully it was on the way back).

Off topic a bit, but is that a very long fishing rod coming from the stern or are you just practicing your long range cleat lassooing technique?
