I have a new sea toilet. It's the same as the old one, a Jabsco Brydon.
The old one split the pump casing and I, attempting a repair, striped the thread in the base.
My choice was simple. Buy the parts and try to get someone to fit them as I had run out of time. Or, leave it looless until I found the time.
But wait! I'm saved. A new loo is only a £100 quids. Hang on, the parts were going to be about £70. The labour was going to be another £70 or two hours of my time if I waited. Oh well. I didn't do economics but it appears to me that undoing a couple of hose clips, and four screws. Putting the new bog in place and doing them up again, total time 10mins, is the best option.
So thats the end of my loo servicing days, lifes to short.
