To get to my problem keel, I needed to remove the sea toilet. I have done (ergh!!!) and then I decided that it can stay out. The seacock for the outlet was a bit dodgy anyway, so I've removed that. i just need to fill the hole now. Also, I have a royal doulton sea toilet for sale /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Ooh, all that extra space on the boat now, I'll have somewhere to keep my charts and things.

Oh, now for the scary bit. Cutting my way into the keel.

Well when you get into the keel you may get a bit of a shock, because Newbridge had a habit of using anything that was to hand as ballast, you might find concrete and bits of iron, if they were having a good week you might even find some lead!??

Good move getting rid of the bog, bucket and chuckit is a far better solution, if you can time your chuckit until a certain wee piece of Junk is drifting past, I think it would merit 10/10 on the entertainment scale, I have heard it said that the skipper of the aforementioned Junk, has a surprisingly colourful collection of expletives! Just make sure that you are up wind of him when you let fly! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If you keep the charts 'down there', make sure you don't get in the shit! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nathan, don't want to worry you, but this Chrusty geezer does know what he's talking about regarding the keel /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Don't ask how I know /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
