Re: hang on a mo

Know about the trench
yeh that was a real problem but affected the North more Mersey and even Morecambe i heard.
Fishing appears so so now
however i do recall fishing off isle of man when sailing past years ago and getting 14 mackerel in 10 mins
nothing like that has happened off anglesey in the past 10 yrs the shoals must be smaller
hadn't heard about the sub
but then they would not advertise that.

If it Cooks Flys or Floats, Rent it.

Try the walton Backwaters. Over the jubilee weekend I caught 6 seabass from the tender tied in 2 hours . The best bait round here is Ragworm on the bottom on the edge of the channel on a rising tide.

Totally agree......but

Our fishermen are also guilty of overfishing, as a diver I see the results of scallop dredgers and trawls going over the same patches of seabed time after time after time.

However we (the UK govt) seem to be totally impoptent when trying to deal with the EEC and negotiate re the common fishing policy. Elliot Morley seems a real whimp.
