Scuttlebutt's infamous annual x-channel cruise

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

In which case you should book a berth with Zefender to do the preliminary Pathfinder event - the weekend before the main event. F7+ guaranteed

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

Put us down as a possibly definate maybe. Can we go on the dates with the NW backing SW 3 to 4 please?

Would be a giggle to rustle up some "extreeme sailing" crew, but they'd have to bunk up on a bigger boat once we get there....
Hmmmm, let me think about that.... Whats the prize for the Buttlescump Fastest Crossing??

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

How about the YW team starting us on the Squadron line, 'entry fees' pay for dinner for the winners at Les Routiers?

<hr width=100% size=1>my opinion is complete rubbish, probably.

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

Could possibly make the 25th September if someone has a berth available.

October dates are out I'm afraid as we are on our hols.

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

You can count me in! Either as crew on someone else's boat or as skipper on mine. I can't do 25th September - SWMBO's birthday on 24th.

Re: Madame La Plume

.... will be offering loyalty cards this year I gather for those brave enough to return.

I hope to make it but can't do 25th as that's the weekend before the unis start and zefenderette # 2 will require moving in to her new opulent accomodation.

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

I am a definite maybe - cant tell abt the diary this far ahead, but want to do it. May well have some space for semi-energetic crew who prefer their sailing on an even keel(s) /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

Invite them as a matter of politeness - they won't actually turn up anyway, so there's nothing to worry about.

To be honest, I hope they do come - it would be great for them to meet the rest of us.

Re: Scuttlebutt\'s infamous annual x-channel cruise

Will be coming, Cherbourg sounds good, easy access all tides and weather. Can only do Oct dates.
