Scuttlebutt Falmouth?/Fowey?/Plymouth? weekend - Spring

Kev0 is our leader,
Kev0 is our leader,
Kev0 is our leader

The most important attribute of an effective leader is knowing how and when to delegate. Therefore my first decision is to delegate the first round of beers in the Locker to Comrade Red :encouragement: Please pass your orders to him directly...

Put me down for a pint of Merlot.

Actually, are you lads gonna be about in Falmouth next week? I'm coming down to finish a few jobs before Xmas so a beer could be in order :)

Am really looking forward to this. Many thanks Ru88sell for not organising it :)

I'm only booking the meal in Fowey. KevO is in charge of getting Comrade Red to buy the first round. What are you putting yourself forward to do? ;-)

How's the Plymouth posse looking?

I know nothing about Plymouth. But I will not organise a pontoon for us all in Fowey if you like :)

And I thought you had not been in touch with the Gallants Sailing Club and not sorted out any provisional berthing arrangements with them either?

Sadly no. Am in the east of the county getting ready for xmas in the snow with all the kids. But i keep promising myself to get my act together and start the boat jobs in Jan so maybe then?

Russell,

that's Plan A though of course it's early for any plans; if I got stuck somewhere like Fowey ( which I also like very much indeed ) by gales etc I'd get a bus to Falmouth, have to get there it's been too long !

Ok doke... I'll be back down in early Jan for a week or so, then again early Feb before heading off to India for a bit, then again in March before going back Stateside. Let's just ping each other when about and catch up over a wet or 2.

I was heartened to see mention of the Chain Locker, no way am I going that far and not revisiting the site of many happy memories !

Although it's an obvious watering hole for our purposes, it's not the place it once was IMHO. Fecking stoodents everywhere (and emmets at that time of year) and the service is not what it was. Money, money, money is their watchword these days I feel. Given that it was my local for many, many years... it's often a disappointment these days but hey ho!

Offered you a drink when you came alongside in your rib but you refused, from which I realised you must be a tea total type, probably chapel going!

He must be... he didn't invite us to come aboard for a wet when we first met either... Ok so he was trying to get alongside the water barge at the time and we were passing in the tender but that's a pretty weak excuse IMB. :nonchalance:

Hey russel - can you keep me in the loop on this by mobile. I reckon i am just about to get banned for daring to suggest the ipc contributor skippy stu is a cyber bully. Thanks. Cr
