Hi Jim, Sailfree (Roger). Mentioned earlier in the thread he may be cruising this week so don't worry if he doesn't reply to your PM straight away. If he doesn't respond by tomorrow I'll send him a text to let him know you're coming.

Took one for the team .... Left Brighton yesterday , realising that was my last chance to get West this week , so sitting it out in Cowes now until my mates get here and leaving Friday for the crossing , boat show tomorrow if anyone knows of a cheap ticket ? ... See you in Cherbourg .... :)

Sorry for silence been a bit busy.

Weather looks good.

Broad reach over on Friday, Poole Wind Guru has little cloud for Saturday and 22 deg so hopefully Cherbourg will be similar but light wind SW on Sunday so its either motoring weather or I will be launching my virginal spinnaker on Sunday!

Compiling spreadsheet tonight so if you don't get it tomorrow I either don't have your e mail address of I noted it wrongly. Jungle Jim is on the list.

Scallywag now 3 people on board. All three would like dinner on Saturday.

Keeping a sharp eye on the forecast(s)!

I will be leaving Wareham Thursday, picking up a buoy in Poole ready to leave early Friday (0400 to 0500).
So I could pick you up at Poole Quay / Marina any time Thursday night.

My son has just told me he can't make it, so I am in the same boat as you. If you fancy going from Weymouth let me know
