Scrubbing at Itchenor - Power.

I assume there's no electric power anywhere near the piles at Itchenor so a pressure washer would need to have it's own power source?

There is a power point at the top of the hard, so you will need a long extension cable. I believe that you should only use the western piles for tools needing electricity, as trailing a cable across the hard to the eastern piles is not a good idea.

If you use the scrubbing berth up at Bosham Quay they have a pressure washer on site at a very reasonable rate. :encouragement: May need to book though. http://www.bglcompany.co.uk/bosham_harbour

Many thanks, that suits me even better - I'm pretty shallow, don't need the piles and the higher up I go the better. Whereabouts is the power point? I'm pretty sure there's water higher up too so if I went further in/up I wouldn't even need the water at the piles.

There is a white box near to the concrete "platform" at the top of the hard. Open the box and you will see a 13 amp socket.

There is a water tap near to that - bring your own hose.
