Looked at it two weeks ago thanks terry, nice boat but not ideal for sea use with those engines in, shame really as it would be a good bet. I'm going to look at various now as the money is in the bank.

with 63ps it will be a slug

Yep but VP can tune the engine up and anyway who goes more than 5 knots on the river nowadays.

Could be a good buy for you Andy - just think you could turn left out of the marina and be in Lymington Town Quay in no time @ all or risk being run over by the White Link Ferry on the way to Yarmouth :D

On a serious note guys lets all stop trying to talk the market down as it is doing no one any favours and it will all end in tears for us all from a financial point :D

What is the performance difference between these and the bigger 480's? don't think I'd be too worried to lose a few knots at the top end.

It's more than a few knots, problem is that for the lower powered boat it needs the hull to be clean all the time as it wont plane once the hull is dirty. See 14 tons and propped to plane will mean it just hasn't got the torque to get over the hump when its fouled up. There ok with the 430s as they are a real torquey engine being 7.4 litres and they produce it 200 revs down the range over the 63p. Thanks terry for the heads up, that boats 40 mins from where I am now.

Terry , never think a boat is a financial viability it never will be but what they give in pleasure and lifestyle is priceless and that's what where all on here for. You have a very nice princess so enjoy it whatever the cost( that doesn't mean my services have gone up!).

63p is on its limit at 370 hp, no more to get out of it that's why it never went edc or common rail.
