Thinking of a trip to the scilly’s in 2021 are there any any good moorings for a 17m Mobo there

You'll probably get on better if you refer to those beautiful islands as 'The Isles of Scilly' rather than 'The Scilly Isles' or 'The Scillys'. They seem to get very twitchy on the subject.

And there are plenty of moorings available normally in my experience. There are also lots of nice anchorages.

You might have to anchor as I am only aware of about 6 moorings suitable for that size yacht( happy to be proven wrong). Dunno when the islands will want visitors back though ?

I can only think of 2, both at the N end of New Grimsby. Anchoring is the way to go. And take a good tender. My favourite cruising area, you’ll love it. Just be prepared to move at short notice when the wind direction changes.
