In the end we departed south from Greystone, just south of Dublin, with a good six day forecast.
We decided to sail close to the Scillies to refresh the forecast so passed between the Bishops Rock and the TSS. Unfortunately the 4G signal did not reach that far out. Not much westing lost and not too far off the rhum line.
As it was the six day forecast was reasonably accurate and we made A Corunna in one hour less than five days.
