Scatter cushions,worried.

I have never seen a tablecloth on a boat before. Also, is that tubing behind the tap a water feature? I don't know, you turn your back for five minutes and women run amok!

Dehumidifier pipe.
Table cloth not my idea but in fact is useful in harbour, at sea fiddles are fitted.

Scatter cushions do have a place in yachting, if you want the woman in your life to enjoy sailing with you. They are a powerful token of your understanding that home comforts are not incompatible with good sailing.

If you put them in the lee side berth in the first place, they won't need to migrate.

Simples.

New boat came with an inordinate number of scatter cushions. Even my mum thought there were too many, and has taken most of them home - filled half a pontoon trolley. Leaving two on board to provide visual accent (or some such interior-designy term) and if needed for a comfy posture while reading. I have been tasked with building dedicated stowage for use underway.

I have short legs, long arms and a bad back. I can only sit for a minute or two in most boats without a cushion, so all our friends tend to offer me a cushion as soon as I sit down now. I am grateful for this but would prefer the whisky first.

+1

After due negotiations about scatter cushions on our new boat - me at 0 and SWMBO at 6 with blending patterns, we compromised on 6... with said patterns. I am pleased with the outcome and have agreed to keep my preferences for up on deck and leave the soft furnishings to those in charge.

Until you tack.

The rear panel of these is of similar material to the seats themselves, that is Alcantara like (although a fifth of the price). At levels of heel acceptable to our crew they stay in place.

:Dmust be a girl thing then, but I can't see what the problem is. On my previous 29' I had 5 scatter cusions, one bolster. 12 pillows, 4 duvets, 3 sleeping bags and 5 blankets.

All stowed away when necessary and noone ever complained of being uncomfy or cold :o

comes in handy sometimes :D :D
