Yes - how else do you support your 2 stroke outboard, when your on a drying mooring and you store the motor in the cabin???

Why do you think they are called "Scatter" cushions. A cushion is a cushion until you go about. It then becomes a scatter cushion.......I'm surrounded by rank amateurs.......

As long as they float but not too fast, cushions can be chucked over the side to lead a path back to a Person Overboard; I was taught that by a survivor of the Murmansk Convoys.

Now that's looking after one's engine, comfy cushions; mine gets plonked on top of an old fender to keep the head up higher than leg, and that's its' lot - I hope my engine isn't reading this.
