I pass the quay often and I always look out for boats that I may know, I do make the effort to say hello if I see anyone I recognise - I am actually quite sociable in the real world, I just don't go out of my way to deliberately merge my conveniently compartmentalised life. I think most people who have rafted next to me have found me more than agreeable with a well stocked drinks locker (and I do stand my round Jim /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif).
I think you may have mixed me up with someone else though, I've got a Snappie747 and no ties with the Tudor Club. I do belong to a club, but remain detached - years of experience with various types of clubs have taught me that firstly the politics always end in tears and to steer clear of them, and secondly, organisers of anything never get the thanks they deserve.
