Saw this being towed out of Portsmouth today

While I was engaged in 'watching' this

Needles to say they were practising. I have now gone deaf from the sound of the helipcopter.

Interesting. I wonder if the owner is taking her off to have the Gas Turbines fitted from the SRN-4s that he bought recently?

That's "Brave Challenger" - discussed many time before on this forum. Shame to see her under tow. Still a handsome craft (from a distance). Perhaps this is the start of a brighter future for her.

The Coastguard practised while we were on the way back from Chichester on Sunday morning landing on the bathing platform with the jetrib on there - must have had all of 12" square space to land on !!!!

Kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience-but the noise !! Was going to post up some pictures this evening !

Must be the time of year, as they practiced with Gludy on Friday I believe, on his way over to Weymouth.

Yes, Paul phoned me really excited.
He's got lots of great photo's and video footage to show us.
Looking forward to it.
At least most of the problems with his new boat now seem to be over.
About time too, the poor bloke has really been through the wringer.
