On the other hand - harder to lose in-transit than a small jiffy bag. And paper and cardboard isn't one of the bigger "save the planet" problems.
I don't think so , we had two items send a month ago they put both in one box , it turn up with an hole in the box that was clearly cut with probably a blade and the victron stunt removed.
This was such a small box 1.5 cm X 3 cm X3 cm it would had fitted in the smallest jiffy bag or at the very less a smaller box without all the brown paper .
Don't get me wrong I'm not one of them do what we can to save the planet although I do my bit when it come to recycling.
But this was a waste of cardboard and paper.
Agree paper and card isn't at the top but it's another tree cut and that does made a difference.

Cardboard is easily recyclable and uses little energy. Can also be incinerated to generate power. Jiffy bags are plastic glued to paper and are hard to recycle. Amazon know this, and also know the available space in the vans compared to average load. The only downside here is it won’t fit in your letterbox. Amazon also know the rate of theft so will leave it conveniently outside if you’re not in.
Smart people, Amazon.
