Some might be interested in the progress of this new Med marina.
If you find it boring - just move on.
SWMBO and I have just returned from a few days down there. It seems that we missed some stormy weather in the UK. Spain was cold but during the day the sun made it quite out - SWMBO even managed a bit of sun bathing.
The marina is "coming along" - but it seems to be suffering a bit from the "Spanish Way" of doing things - slowly. They also seem to do things twice (or even more) - for example digging up landscaped land because they forgot to put in pipes etc.
Anwyay - for those interested here are a few pics - maybe to cheer you up on those cold wet days at home.
This is the centre of the marina - offices and loos etc. Also a clubroom/bar.
View of marina and boat yard from the clubroom/bar.
The swimming pool still needs a lot of work but it should be ready for the season.
The berths were finished last summer but improvements are still going on.
The boat yard is superb - they've polished the concrete so that it can be cleaned very easily - at the moment you could eat your lunch off it - and I mean that. Sorry about the darkness of the pics - it was late - actually we were walking down to take some pics and another forumite from these forums spotted us and invited us in for tea - it was almost dark when we actually got to the yard.
And finally, the fuel berth
All in all - we were pleased and cant wait for later in the year when things start to get used.
