Salvage costs with 3rd Party Insurance

I've always gone for fully comp. over the last 38 years of boat ownership.
I am now downsizing and thought 3rd party would be sufficient 'cos the new boat won't be worth that much - BUT what if salvage costs are incurred ?

Most third party includes removal of your wreck. Just check the wording of the policy you are offered or ask the insurer.

Two different things not an expert but thought salvage was trying to save the boat and removal of wreck was just that ie
removing the wreck so not a hazard to other vessels.
