Sort of cross posting - so I hope this is allowed! I posted up on Scuttlebutt http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=322941 about sailing with tots. As obviously we've never taken her out before, we'll mainly just be pottering to see how she copes, either Deben and North a little, or Bradwell/Burnham etc., depending on the weather!
The problem is that she's allergic to quite a few things - beef, dairy, eggs and wheat (not gluten) amongst other (less problematic) things, so I wonder whether anyone might have any local knowledge as to where we can source food for her?
I guess the main issue is finding suitable bread, as I find my home-made bread doesn't keep so well on the boat, not having preservatives in it, but it'll need to be a fairly specialist baker/shop to find something like spelt bread (which she can eat!) I think.
We don't really mind whether it's somewhere that needs dinghy access or marinas, we can be flexible.
