Visit Tuborg and Carlsberg breweries before leaving! It used to be possible to do both in one day, but nobody can remember achieving it.
went through kiel a long time ago in a 400 ton vessel. pilots advice was to steer close to the vessels coming in the opposite direction as the bow pressure wave would keep you apart.
