sailing experience

Hi all

I have just joined the YBW forums. Hopefully this is the right place to post such a message...

I am a keen dinghy sailor/racer and now looking for experience on a larger yacht before purchasing one. I have done the dayskipper course.

If anyone is looking for a crew or would like to give a beginner some experience then please get in touch. I am available weekdays and weekends. Based in Yorkshire but happy to travel.

As you can travel this is not a bad place to start and you will get good experience of many different boats.

Or you could get a blazer, white slacks, cravat, large cigar and pretend to be a purchaser insisting on a 'decent' test sail i.e. "the odd week-end will do old boy...."

we have boat up on Windermere in lake dist (we based mcr) and yr more than welcome to join us for sailing experience - happy to have you aboard. Its a good excuse for me to stay home while husband goes with you ... let me know if yr interested and am sure we can sort something out
