Today I got our Bavaria lifted for the usual antfouling etc.... In our ownwership this I is the second lift for antifouling. The last time I changed the saildrive anode which required me to remove the prop. There is an Ambassador rope cutter installed.
Between the cone and the prop there is a tiny gap even when everything is tightened up. I noticed this time that when I grab the blades of the prop and give it a wiggle, ther is movement that I would not have expected I am wondering if the previous owner missed out a big washer/ spacer, it its meant to be like that. I have used the boat for two years with a lot of motoring and not noticed any problems.
As the boat is out now it would be good to know if the installation on our boat is the way it is meant to be - or not.
As always any advice would be appreciated.
