Sail repair in Stornoway

To sew a patch on, simple repair, could probably be done by anyone with an industrial sewing machine. Anyone any ideas? Nearest sailmaker I can find is in Oban.

Ask at the fisherman's/ships chandlery at the pier. They seem to know who can do what.

Bad luck, hope you get sorted.
a few years back when our genoa fell leech apart due to UV (left hoisted for 3 years in France) when sailing the NW we ended up spending an entire day, taking in shifts, hand sewing it back together

It's not for me, it's for a visiting Swedish boat just arrived from the Faroes. A lady with an industrial sewing machine & a patch of canvas from the fishermen's co-op have been found.
