<span style="color:blue"> Hi All,

I am currently in Dominica and cruising slowly to Antigua where I hope to arrive in a couple of weeks.

I will be sailing my boat Sleepy Shores, an 11tn 20+ year old Beneteau Idylle on our 6th Atlantic Crossing, to the Azores in early May. It is 2,200nm and last time, we took 19 days to sail all the way (except for the last 24 hours).

She is a kindly sea-boat, well fitted for ocean sailing and knows her way about the North Atlantic fairly well. See my out of date web site for my qualifications and experience.

We, Sleepy Shores and I, sail like a sedate couple and leave the spinnaker work for the Bold sailors.

I need another crew member for the trip. Minimum qualifications are a good knowledge of the Collision Regulations, experience as crew or Day Skipper, a willingness to get on with folk and contribute to a happy crossing. Everybody will be expected to stand watch, and prepare food on a rota basis, help with boat maintenance and contribute towards the ship's expenses.

If you are interested, send me a PM.

Sounds like a nice trip, as a wage slave can't make it myself.

Did you know that the link on your signature is not working?

Best of luck with both finding crew and the trip.

Can't help I'm afraid but if you see an Island Packet 42 called Macnoon in Horta, give us a wave (or buy us a drink in Peter's!)
