Sail and Cover, Woolverstone Marina

Just had my sacrificial strip re-sewn by them. Whole thing was flapping around, all stitching re-done. The cost: £55. Great work at very much non-marine prices. No connection to them, just wanted to sing their praises a bit. Not everyone in the sailing world adds a zero to all their prices it seems.

I too have always found them good value. No doubt being below the VAT threshold helps.

I asked them to quote for a cover for No.1 Son's International Canoe at RHYC and they told me to go to Sail Register as they would be too expensive!

+1 from me too, they put new windows in my spray hood for a good price, nice people also, will be back with them for sure.

Yes we had work done by them as well, always happy with it and they are great to deal with.

I can't remember what Gowens charged me, but it was an awful lot more than £55. Good deal.

Just got a sun-shade made. My notebook sketch was photographed with a phone. Beautifully finished, exactly to sketch and supplied in a nicely made bag. Very happy!

We had a winter cover made by them last year and she charged us £200 less than her quote, as she had used less material and on top of that, nice people.
