Does anyone know where i can get a replacement fridge or get the existing ( Engel ) fridge repaired , boat is a 2001 S28

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement fridge or get the existing ( Engel ) fridge repaired , boat is a 2001 S28

As suggested, worth joining the Sealine Forum - a friendly and helpful bunch.

One of our Engel fridges needs replacing and the trouble is that their dimensions differ from other makes (Engel are usually smaller) and Dometic appear to be on the cusp of introducing a new range that are slightly bigger than the outgoing range. Bottom line is that finding something to fit is tricky.

It was a few years ago but Burton Waters sourced one for me.

Any fridge repairer will sort it. There's nothing marine about s fridge.

Thanks , i have tried that route via several motorhome / caravan specialists without any luck , the issue apparently is getting replacement components

I have contacted them , very helpful however its difficult to find a replacement that is not too deep

Yes that is the problem , finding a fridge is relatively easy , finding one that fits is another matter , some are close but generally too narrow and too deep , as a shop fitter i can alter the width easily the depth is the problem
