Just notice that on charge she is taking about 5amp. Does what you put in equal what you can take out.? (Makes sense) Will take 2-3 hr on the 12v charger. How 12v charges an 18v battery is a mystery.

Not sure I understand the question or what you are doing. Charging any battery is never 100% efficient, what you get out is always less than you put in.

Which battery charger are you using?

It works because its based on WATTS .....

Chargers unless stated as regulated at specific output voltage ... will work with Watts ... Volts x Amps.
