Got our renewed ICCs back from the RYA today. My wife's had nice? red stamps on it but they forgot to stamp mine, so another 27p down the drain. That's a litre and a bit of fuel.

Uurgh, turkey,
France is more spensive cos everyone wants to be there. S coast of UK is nearly as spensive cos a fair number of people want to be there too. Turkey, nobosy wants to be there, hence cheap.
Anchoring overnight at Es Trenc in crystal blue waters on the SE tip of Majorca. Visiting the hugely underrated port of Arenal with amazing bar area and free swimming pool. Watching the toples beach girls demonstrating/selling beach wraps. Filing up with cheap diesel at Gibraltar.
So why the hell is this boat coming to Lymington?

France is more spensive cos everyone wants to be there. S coast of UK is nearly as spensive cos a fair number of people want to be there too. Turkey, nobosy wants to be there, hence cheap.

Lymington - well I hope my skipper knows where that is because I don't. She is going there because is suits Greenham Marine or Regis or whatever they call themselves to fit her out there. Then its sea trials out of Hamble Point Marina and then its off to see your topless sea towel vendors (via Gibraltar's bonded stores).
I have the name of the ship she is being shipped on but will not mention that in this forum because there are too many pirates and similar dodgy characters hereabouts who might waylay the ship.

Matt do you mean Club Nautico Arenal, east side in Palma bay, if you do I know it well we moored there for 2 years , great pool for us and the kids, yet we came back to Lymington with the boat, don,t make sense really?

Yes a great place. First tie mthere we battled a force 6-7, but within minutes of mooring we were esconced in a smart bar, satellite TV, waiter service. Good place. Outside the port, tho, it's a total dump.

Matt, you mean they have gales there as well as expensive fuel? You really know how to make me look forward to the summer. My 2 acres of grass looks more appealing by the minute.
