While I am (very, very, slowly) in the process of buying a boat, I asked anold marine surveyor friend what he thought of the Superhawk 48.
Interesting comments included:-
1) Not S/seeker's easiest model to move in 2nd hand market..so offer cheap ( I did!!)
2) KAD44s generally more reliable than 42s....
3) Watch middle engine for excessive wear ( due load and lack of gearing) AND
rust on sump of mid engine if left with water in bilges for long time...question is anyone know of a devilish way to see the underside of these beasts in position...do Volvo engineers have a special trick???
