Berthing in the car park

I think that Sparkes Marina in Hayling offer something similar (or at least did last year) it was about the same price as a pontoon berth but with as many free launches & lifts as you wanted.

Problem is most marinas are currently turning their car parks into blocks of flats...

For someone who didn't use their boat much it might make sense to ask a
boatyard what they would charge for a similar service.

Southsea have the same scheme. On similar lines, Salterns in Poole used to (may still) put your boat out on a swinging mooring and bring it in/take it out on request. Much more sensible, and a lot cheaper, than being on a berth when you're not there.

A friend who lives near Toulon assures me there are multi story car parks for boats around him, such is the pressure for marina spaces. Of course, you need a mast in a tabernacle if you're a sailing boat!
