I want to add an automatic bilge pump to the 2 manual ones I currently have and was directed towards the Whale Super Smart 650.
I have previously used the Rule with a traditional float switch. I'm not a great fan of any electrically operated equipment being periodically submerged in water but I was wondering if anyone had any experience of the Whale described above.
PS. my bilges are normally kept dry with the exception of rain water coming down the inside of the mast which is keel stepped and a modest amount of salt water from the stern gland.
