Hi Guys

Sorry more questions.

The rub rail around the boat is an aluminium extrusion that to be fair is far too lightweight (<3mm), so has been damaged by former owners 'docking by brail' as the surveyor put it.

I know there are literally hundreds of rub rails available, however this hull is slightly different in that the hull and topsides are joined with a flange and then glassed together at the rear, this means any rub rail has to be a channel that fits over the flange. Current rub rail is held on by through bolts into flat plates that pull the rub rail onto the hull join (no visible fasteners) so I'm trying to find something heavier (or vinyl) with a channel that would fit over the flange. I dont care if I have to screw from the outside into the flange area. I just want something that looks ok and either doesnt bend without a real big hit or at least flexes back and leaves the hull sides straight :)

Any advice as they are hard to find in Aus so am looking to other countries!

Steve
