Royal Wind Vane

Does any reader have information or contact e-mail for Royal Windvane self-steering gear, possibly also known as SST. I have seen one unit and understand that they are manufactured by a small company in Germany. It is similar to the Windpilot Pacific Plus but looks a lot more impressive. All help will be appreciated.

Sorry, I can't help. I've searched through everything I've got on wind vanes; no mention of the Royal or SST anywhere. Have you any more information?

Incidently, did you know that YM did a review on vanes in the November issue. I've also got a similar review in a August 1998 PBO. I could let you have copies just in case some of the photo's might help track it down.

Thanks for the response. I have seen the mag articles about wind vanes. The manufactures is not included. Do not have any further information at present. Certainly not a high quantity mainstream manufacturer but without doubt very high quality. The moment I saw on on a yacht I knew it would be the most suitable for mine.
