I hope you take this comment in the spirit it's intended, but I'm not sure a new thread each (sailing) day is the best option here. Not only does it mean a lot of new threads, but also it'll make searching for details after the fact a bit harder.

Perhaps either one thread for the entire journey or (better) a blog might be better.

Again, not intended as a dig.
No. I love these daily reports, look forward to my regular fix.

I don't care about the format - whatever is most convenient for the word smith is good for me.

I simply like the words

and pictures.

However I am developing an interest in how a man can sail a yacht single handed without much 'relaxation' on 6 hours sleep and then conjure up the time and enthusiasm to entertain those of sitting in armchains, reading the evocative words. Also oddly there are no heroics, its almost dry - and readable, because we know what its like.

Its bl00dy hard work! I tried doing an online blog last year and gave up. I finally wrote up a more reflective blog at the end of December and realised that I had haken nowhere enough pictures or recorded enough detail. Will try harder this year.

Actually I suspect Concerto will tell us all how easy it is to share is exploits in writing. It just flows. Just an account of how the event unfolded, made even more easy in that he wants to share and we want to read his exploits. Then I suspect he crashes out for the night wondering what could possibly happen tomorrow.

Thank you for all the comments.

The reason I did separate reports is I frequently see a thread with hunders of posts and very few people will start from the beginning when they see this. Using separate reports means you will find it close to the top of the active threads and you know the important post is the first one. Tonight I have gone back through the reports and then added the link to the next to save anyone having to search for the next one. Perhaps I should start including the link to the first in every report.

Now I have to write todays report.
