I am looking for a rope clutch that holds 4 ropes, Most people only sell them in 3 which would mean buying a fouth separate. It must take 12mm rope.

I have came accross the SCANDVIK EASYLOCK which they sell in fours, Has anyone used these before and how good are they??????

Try LEWMAR clutches - come out best in magazine tests with no rope damage. Use two doubles side by side.
PS there is a new Quintuplet Easylock on ebay at $100 (us site) looks cheap at that price!

i used to have 2 x 2 easylock jammers
the Pr that doen the Genny & Spi started to slip so replaced with Spinlock & they are superb.
the other Pr only do the main & spare Genny & the main is never hauled up to the extent of a genoa so is still satisfactory

OK, here goes (sticks head above parapet)

I've had Easylock cluches on three Dehlers, and never had a problem, racing or cruising.

Easylock clutches were factory-fitted standard kit, the remainder being 95% Harken, including winches. On current boat they handle EVERY control line - halyards, sheets, two single-line reefs, kicker, backstay tension, furler, headsail track cars, crusing chute tack line, pole up & downhaul.

No problems either , 20years old and still going strong.

Make that three. And still the original external design (though slightly changed inside). But I thought Easylock is the company (Swedish?), are they bought by Sandvik?
