A bright sunny day, lovely run over from Gosport. Tied up safely in Cowes Yacht Haven, a spot of lunch then it's off to see Status Quo tonight in the marina.

What a great day :)

Henry.

Matchstick men? Sadly unable to post piccies on here from the iPhone. In the Fountain watching sound checks on the stage. So much more civilised than the big venues and a fraction of the price as well!

Lovely. Just had it out for a clean and polish. Also just had the exterior seats re-trimmed by Princess and am really pleased. I'll start a separate thread for that when I can attach some photos.

Clearly a newcomer to the Quo. Pictures of Matchstick Men I think was their first chart hit? Circa 1968.

I saw them a few times in the late '70's. Great band and good fun. Mix that with mobo's and you ar talking pure heaven!

We are at Sheppards and do not have tickets but will certainly be able to hear them. both directly and the echo from Venture Quay. That is almost stereo

Henry, we were on your pontoon last week, your dinghy was full of rainwater, twas me who took the plug out, and your port rope out of the water.

Have a rocking time!

Thanks for that Paul. Cleaned it this morning before setting off. Tickets still available at the door for those in Cowes. Just testing the Mahiki bar to make sure it's ok for next week and to get in the mood for the Quo.

After a bloody hard few months life doesn't get much better :)

Henry Icant believe your boats a 2007, it was brandnew when I tied up next to you in Yarmouth that year, where has the time gone?

For those of you lucky enough to be in Cowes, if your clever enough in the events centre you can sneek in via the toilets if your lucky!

That ladies and gentlemen was the dog's nuts. Still tighter than the nuts holding (most of) our props on even after all these years ;)

Just got to decide where to go until the latter part of next week now......

Just going to check the Mahiki bar still works.

Henry :)
