Just in case any of you intrepid navigators were planning passage downhill to Brizzl, the EA's Twerton sluice gate failed again at dusk last evening (happened last October 2019) and let the water run away in Bath, several boats hung up, others sank, multiple response from emergency services. Hearing that the sluice won't be shut in to raise the water level till the sunken boats have been pumped out.
