A thoughtful member who always made a lot of sense. The way he dealt with and faced up to his medical problems was admirable. RIP Peter, I felt I knew him although we never met. Some people have that ability to engage with humility, humour and knowledge , a rare combunation.

He seems to have had a rotten time recently with health problems, but still made some good and thoughtful posts. RIP Peter and condolences to his family and friends.

Sad another good poster lost, he seemed a nice guy that put up with a lot of pain and discomfort without moaning about it.

Never met Peter but exchanged medically related info. He came across as a lovely chap: thoughtful, lucid, intelligent, stoic, insightful, accepting

.....all good things.

So sad,

RIP

Peter's family have asked me to post the link to the tribute donations website for Peter's chosen charity Barts

If you would like to make a donation in his memory, please go to ...

FAQs - Herongate Wood

and enter the name "Peter Hills" in the seach box (note HillS not Hill as in the post title - autocorrect strikes again)

I am collating all the tributes here tonight and forwarding them to the family

Regards
Bru
