Ring RIBs

Does anyone have any views on these boats?
My son is considering buying a used 6.5m for export to Australia. Apparently much cheaper than buying one there.
Ring is not a name that I've heard much about.

Not sure about the ribs but Mike ring made some pretty epic speedboats back in the day!
