I hope there is I want one as well . I had a chap called Steve do 2 wires for me once ,he's in Birdham havn't heard anything of him for years but will be contacting him soon, 07798 733608 . The mast stayed up , is that a recommendation

Google "yacht riggers east sussex" gives at least half a dozen. Pretty sure at least one will be "decent"

Just because they are on google doesn’t make these “experts” any good. Word of mouth goes a long way these days.

Well I guess they have all been in business for some time and well worth asking them for a quotation and perhaps visiting them. Otherwise you are relying on one person whom you have never met. Individual recommendations have their value even though they are not representative and maybe better to start with your own assessment of what each supplier has to offer.

True but so far the good people on here have recommended some good people for different things and if a name comes up a few times it’s worth a look. But thanks for your opinion anyway.
