I was talking to a guy who was testing one of a pair nine metre inboard . It was heading out to a super yacht with its twin to Singapore . What impressed me was that they tested the ribs for 35hrs at sea before sending onto clients. How long do the top boat bands test their craft.

Ribeye are excellent machines - best in their class imho. We (my brother and I) have a pair of their prime 821s with Yam 300s.
35 hours seems a lot. i suspect there must have been technical tweaks needed and then a new trial or 2. I would expect more like 3-8 hours on an inboard boat, and 2 hours with new outboards. My Sanlorenzo - much more complex obviously - had 27 hours when I collected it new earlier this year.

I had a Ribeye Tender on my Azimut 39. I always found any communications with Ribeye to be first class. They really care about their products, customers and staff. Hence they deserve to succeed. I can't comment on test and shakedown time, but 35 seems a factor of 10 out?

They have made to measure as well as the off the peg boats. I believe that the made to measure need CE assessing.
