retrofitting bow thruster to beneteau 43

recently had a bow thruster installed ,

Why did you choose to fit it in that way? It doesn't look the most hydrodynamic result.

i was initially concerned but as it has quite a flat bottom i didnt have much choice,it couldn't go any further back as the water tank occupies that space, retractable might have been a better option but i had already purchased this one , however the drag created will be far outweighed by the advantage of a thruster
