I have a 2004 Bavaria 32 which does not have a shower in the heads.
Has anyone any experience regarding the fitting of a waste outlet and pump from the shower area.
It looks like a standard Bavaria shower tray which appears to be a one piece moulding that goes up the sides except that where a drain would be located it is just blank, so a drain had never been fitted.

I always thought that the shower in the heads on Bavaria's was a standard item of equipment.

Thanks

I presume your Bavaria 32 Toilet looks like these?

Obviously they made them with a shower. Can you do as Nigel says or have a look at one that is for sale with a shower.?

I can't see a problem but you would have to empty into a sump and then transfer to your gray water sump but there are plenty of el cheapo pumps for sale on eBay

I don't think it was standard on all as while we had one on our 34 from 2001 I know of another af same vintage which didn't and when it came to be sold the broker had one fitted . Clearly set up and heads location might be different on a 32 but are there not access problems in retro fitting ?

You could be right but if you stood on your head you should be able to do it.

From memory you can access under the shower tray through the locker under the sink to get at the sump shown in Bav34's post. So you need to cut a hole where the blank recess is in the shower tray, fit the sump, then plumb through a strainer and a check valve to a pump and then out to a seacock above the waterline. The original is operated by a press switch below the sink and there should be a circuit on the switch panel for it - and there may even be the wiring for the pump and the switch.

I'm struggling to find any meaningful photos of our 34 but we have the following setup:

You can see the pre-filter bottom-left in the cupboard under the sink.

There is a rubberised button to operate the pump on the sink pedestal.

There is a dedicated seacock for the shower but I can't see why you couldn't T into the sink outlet.

Best of luck.
hello, did you complete the retrofiting ?
