26 Jun 2005 #2 ccscott49 Well-Known Member Joined 7 Sep 2001 Messages 18,583 Visit site You could try "T" cut, used to polish cars, then some normal car type polish, or brasso also works. But to be honest the only real way of doing it, is to replace it, not as difficult as you may think.

I tried this and it comes up a treat - the only problem is it makes it very porus and the next stain sinks right in. I have been told to clean it, then hit it with a clear mat varnish. I have not done the varninsh yet.
