Restoration Inspiration

I read with interest the article in the latest 'MBM' about the guy who rebuilt an old cruiser. This has inspired me to do the very same with my own boat (although not in quite so bad condition).

I want to do some reading-up on this subject to see what I might be letting myself in for. I, like the man in the article, know almost nothing about fibreglassing/boat building in general but am ok on the 'DIY' side of things.

Endless amounts of searching on the net have provided me with nothing. I wondered if anyone had any relevant links to offer, or the names of a couple of good books covering this subject.

Cheers.

I found that the large Public libraries have a very good selection of books; almost every book, past and present. There are at least 10 good books to read, on topics such as rigging, hull maintenance etc. So, don't buy them, just borrow a couple at a time for few weeks.

Oh yeah, that old place! Y'know, I'd almost forgotten they existed!

Thanks M8, appreciate it:)
