The engine room soundproofing needs resticking. Has anybody found a glue that will stick the stuff and what is the best conditions to do the job?

After yesterdays attempt I am more grumpy that usual.

You might want to consider using insulation fixing pins like these

The problem with adhesive , as I am sure you know, is that eventually the foam gives way and the insulation falls off, leaving a thin layer of foam stuck to the boat surface.
If you use pins this will not happen and removal or replacement at a latter stage is a doodle, too
No connection with the company and other makes are available

I re-stuck mine with a spray carpet adhesive (about £4 from screwfix for a very large can). Probably not a long term solution but a fairly cheap option which looks like it will last long enough to be worth the money.
Works so far one year on.

Had a similar spray which came with the soundproofing - forget if it was a.s.a.p. or Halyard or elsewhere. Worked well on almost all of the sheets, but had to resort to screw on a couple of places.

Don't get it in your eye though - it hurts for a long time!
