I have a modern Raymarine setup, with an Axiom 12 MFD and an e95 Hybrid Touch MFD. The system is running on the stng network (MNEA2000), although the wind, depth and speed transducers are analogue instruments and operate through an iTC-5 converter.

All this works fine and I can get speed, depth and trip / log information on all the displays and i70s repeaters. However, I can find no way to reset the trip log and so the trip and total logs both read the same. Surely, there must be some way to reset the trip log???

Surely the only time the the Trip and Total would be the same would be after the first trip? I believe you can reset the Trip but not the Total (except possibly with a factory reset).

From memory, which is dodgy, when you create a route and then follow that route, the trip log starts at zero

The trip log should reset to zero when switched off at the end of the trip. Are you sure that the relevant instrument(s) is/are totally depowered? Ref #4, it shouldn't be necessary to create and follow a route; the trip should still record from zero when just wandering about.

This is for Lighthouse v3.16 but i'm guessing the newer versions should be the same. Seems it is in the Fuel section.

You should be able to do it manually from the i70. Get a page displaying Trip Log, then Menu->Quick Options (or whatever the actual wording is)->Reset Trip

Took me some time to find! (I'd forgotten about the page shown in #7 above, so that's another way).

Brilliant, thanks Jlavery, that's fixed it ?. What a convoluted way to have to do it, though! The other GPS-derived ground trips all have an easy reset function on both the Axiom and e95. Still, I now know, so thanks again.
