Rescue off the Lizard

On the local TV news there was a report that a Dutch yachtsman had been rescued by helicopter from his 50 ft boat 20 miles off the Lizard last night. The boat was taking on water and later sunk. They showed a film of the rescue. The boat looked fairly modern but I could not make out the class.

The weather was good last night. I wonder what happened?
