Replacing Anti-slip deck paint - Options

Those pics I posted were work in progress. I did actually finish it !
Priced up imitation teak decking but a lot of work and was around £100 m2.
A 10m roll at 56" wide epdm was just over £300.
The good thing is you can drop the end of a spinnaker pole on it without any damage whatsoever.
I just couldn't face more years of painting deck and cabin roof.
I didn't know about kiwi grip back then though so that could have been a contender.
 
I covered a bright blue anti-slip paint with International Interdeck Slip Resistant Paint in a cream colour. Just painted a couple of coats straight over it. A year later and it's still looking good.

+ 1 Really quick & clean to apply too.
 
I used deluxe textured masonry paint on my decks about 7 years ago. It had suitable grip and was okbwhen bare foot. It has now reached the end of its life so will quite happily do the same again. Only downside is that it is more difficult to clean after 3 years than grp but that doesn't bother me to much. So this year will be a quick sand, mask and then reapply and I can get any shade that I like, in this case an off white / light grey.

Is that the grey one?
 
My decks are up for another coat ...... I don't put multi coats on ... I prefer that the Masonry Paint wears off over the season so I don't build up a thick layer. I accept that end of season I have patches worn through ... but that shows its doing its job.
 
I used KiwiGrip on my old Sadler.
On the whole I was pretty happy with it, but I found that it was a real struggle trying to keep it clean, it really liked to pick up the dirt.
If you live somewhere where the water is less muddy you might find it less of a problem.

I think in future I would use a 2 component polyeurethane with something like Griptex.
