So having been quoted £20 for a replacement roller for my Hurley 20's bow roller I'm looking to see of anyone has any alternatives...

Post the length, max diameter, bore of hole through the centre and a rough sketch of the profile required and I should think someone will offer to make one if they have a lathe and an offcut of suitable material.
There's also someone on eBay who will make you one from £0.99
Check out Seamark Nunn - prices start at £7....

I found this place when looking a few months back https://www.seascrew.com/browse.cfm...S-FOR-BOW-ROLLER--NYLON---RUBBER&l=0000001018
Cheers Gareth
thats Tufnol. Mine is a hard white plastic.
I need a new one and was planning to make one from some nylon rod That will cost about £3 for half a metre. Tufnol is more expensive £20 per 300mm for 25 mm diameter
Yes... considered that... at this size I'm assuming the profile of the rod is not important, so a straight length would do? All I need then is a steady hand to drill the centre who do you recommend to supply, VicS?
If it's just the material you want I can send you some FOC.
